About

zkan-with-koala

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science and Information Management program at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand. I also completed my Master’s degree here in 2008 with the thesis entitled “Human Behavior Profiling for a Video Surveillance System”. My thesis won the second place in the AIT Master Thesis competition in that year as well. I have been an IEEE member since January 2010.

Before coming to AIT, I graduated from Kasetsart University in Computer Engineering.

My research of interest includes image processing, computer vision, and learning, especially applied to multiple human tracking, human behavior profiling and abnormal human behavior detection for a video surveillance system.

My List of Publications:

  • Ouivirach, K. and Dailey, M.N., Clustering Human Behaviors with Dynamic Time Warping and Hidden Markov Models for a Video Surveillance System. In Proceedings of ECTI-CON, 2010. [PDF]
